Posts that should have been blogged long ago!

My life has been one hell of a ride lately, and there are some future exciting opportunities arriving soon, but I'm going to keep mum until they are put into action! Let's just say, I am high on life right now!!!

Ok, I've been so high on life that I couldn't sleep, and as a consequence, I've been up surfing the net and catching up on emails since 5:30AM this SATURDAY morning (yes I know! Crazy!). I decided it's also time to update my blog with posts that should been on here from early September! Here goes:

SEPT 3

Sept long weekend, my parents wanted to host a BBQ shindig at our place (yes it was actually their idea!!!!). Since meeting many of our friends at our wedding, they liked them so much, they wanted to have them over for a BBQ. In celebration, Dad and Dan also created their own fire-pit in our backyard. It turned out to be pretty darn good! Dad insisted that we provide the food (and some beer). So Dan and I made chicken and beef Shiskabobs, and since there were so many, and our fire-pit was too small to grill all of them at a fast pace, our awesome neighbour friend, Shane, took them back to his place to fire them up on his hardcore heavy-duty BBQ of all BBQ's. Thanks SHANE!!!! It was also so cute to see my parents really enjoying themselves amongst our friends. Thanks mom and dad! love you both! XOXOX

First time fire-pit partying at the Fung Residence!

I look nervous! haha!!!

I love this pic of my dad (wearing my old worn out pink sandals-haha!) and our friend, Jason, cooking up the shiskabobs on our new fire pit!

I loved Kelly's outfit (only she could pull it off though) and she wore pink for me! YAY! HOT!

That's some true manlove right there...nice photo Lon (left) and Sean (right)! HAHA, Sean is hilarious...before coming to the BBQ, Sean called Lon up, and asked him what he was wearing - then Sean copies Lon w/o him knowning! I love Sean's brilliant ideas! Even more, I love Lon's reactions!

This photo's hilarious...looks like Meens is trying to cope a feel!

Here's mom, Dan, Shane, William and Hannah playing lawn bowling...too cute!

Fire...pit!

I'm so impressed my parents stayed pretty much until all the guests left. They are *so* cute!!!
CONGRATS JACKIE AND CLAYTON!!!!

One of my long time best friends, Jackie, (we've known each other since Gr. 6, but didn't become good friends until Jr. High, since Jax didn't like me the first time we met, b/c according to Jackie, I wouldn't lend her 25 cents for bus fare...I don't recall that, but I'll take her word for it!) and her fiance, tied the knot on SEPT 2. They had a small, simple family beach wedding at Clayton's family cabin out in Saskatchewan, and held a reception the following week back in Edmonton at a hall.

The wedding was beautiful, simple, and low-key (very much like the happy couple). We had a great time!!!

All the best to Jackie and Clayton in their future together!!! I'm so happy for you, Jackie!!!

Here is the lovely couple, waiting to be announced Mr. and Mrs. Clayton and Jackie Delves!

Entering the hall full of guests

Jackie's maid of honor, sister Jessica, and Clayton's best man, his brother Dwight

Nice manners...Dan!

This was so cute, Jax and Clayton played a questions and answer game, with each person holding a big sign that said "ME" on one side, and "HIM" (for Jax) and "HER" (for Clayton) on the other side. They had to answer q's accordingly to what they thought. It was so cute! **Sorry for the crappy photo quality!

Michelle (love her dress!!!), Jax (love hers too!) and moi

Husband and Wife Team Lindsey and Danny with Team Roz and Dan

I love this picture of Susan blowing bubbles at Jax and Clayton while they dance their first dance together

Dance dance dance! I love Spanish parties!

Clayton going for the garter! I love that Jax's shoes were so low-key and unique!

Dan has a secret talent: he limbos quite well!

WHOOHOO!!!

I passed another milestone - and am now granted the title of PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST!!!! What the heck does this mean? Basically, I am eligible to become a Registered (use to be called "Chartered") Psychologist. The process is 1600 more hours of counselling, 50% of those hours must be supervised by a Chartered Psychologist, and then I write a $500 examination, including oral examination (I have yet to determine if those are two separate costs). This process will hopefully take me no more than 1.5 years to complete, depending on the rate of clients I get (since that will determine my counselling hours).

I am now just figuring out ways to market myself for clients to come see me at my private practice (boy, it's not easy!). As well, I am still hunting for on-the-side employment (contract or agency) as a therapist. I've had a couple interviews, and one of them I'm hoping to hear back from. The other job I was interviewed for, I was overqualified. It turned out to be more like group-home work, which is not what I desire to do. At this point, all I want is to be able to expand my experiences and knowledge as a therapist - money is not the issue. So the hunt continues....

Tonight Dan and I are getting our shots for Thailand, then we're going to Savoy's martini bar for an event called Original Fare . Basically, it's an fancy evening of tastings from 10 top Edmonton restaurants. Wow, I just checked out the list of restaurants that are going to be there- and I am PUMPED!!!!! There's a few places I've always wanted to try, like The Blue Pear, Blue Plate Diner, The Creperie...and there's some that I just absolutely love, like Hardware Grill (Dan and I went here on our first year anniversary), and Wild Tangerine (yummmy!). I know these places have extravagant food, not only in taste, but also in presentation. I can't wait to see what tonight brings!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love me some tasty food!!!!!

Some Professional Wedding Photos

Here are some of our professional wedding photos, taken by my good friend and professional photographer, Kameron Tarry. Hope you will enjoy these as much as we enjoyed having them taken! Keep checking back, as I'll post some more up later.

This is a great picture of the boys getting ready at George's house

The boys in red

This is a sweet B&W of the boys sitting on George's front doorsteps before the church ceremony. Nice to know Dan looks calm ;o)

10 minutes before I was to get married, Bick announced that my wedding ring was missing from William's (her son, who is the ring bearer) pillow. Here we are searching and freakin out

OMG! Where is the ring?!

Whew!!! We found it!!!! It was still on the pillow, hidden under a ribbon! Wow! What a relief!!! Thanks Bick, for installing some anxiety in us! Just kidding! ;o)

Hannah and Amanda- our adorable flower girls. Hey, how come my dad's sleeping!??!?!

Mom getting teary-eyed

Fr. Sylvane blessing our wedding rings (William our ring bearer)

Exchanging vows (how come we both look constipated!?)

Look at Dan's shoes! HAHA!!! Dan and his groomsmen stayed over at George's place, and before Dan got ready in the morning, the boys used duct tape to write those four letters on his shoes. Even though he saw the letters LP on one of the shoes in the morning, he thought that it was something to be used by the tuxedo rental store. Little did he know it spelled out a word! Too cute!!!!
