Oilers have an amazing chance at winning the Stanley this year! We've been going hockey craze these past couple weeks...here's some pix to prove it. GO OILERS GO!!!!! Finish off the Ducks tonight!!!!!

As Dan was taking this photo, G stepped on my foot! I love this pic! haha!

I think George is about to give Dan a snake bite?

Lon, Katie, Joe, Mark and Adam: At the Standard/Hudson's watching oilers hunt some ducks! (yes, I realize Joe might have forgotten his deoderant! Or maybe he just needs some stronger stuff?!) hehe.

Mmm funky pickle pizza!

comin and going blur

blur 2

I like this random pic Dan took of the crowd walking by on Whyte

Crowds on Whyte (as crazy as it looks, it was actually "tame" compared to that one crazy night where people were hanging off traffic wires! No crazy stuff happening here!)

Oiler fans on Whyte dressed as goalies. Whoot!

No...Lon's not drunk! Just havin' a grand ol' time letting George carry him

Oilers rocked the Ducks!!!! Here we are hanging out at Lon's place. (L to R: Dan, Jenelle, Adam, Lon down in front, me, and Georgie)

See Dan? I told you we would wear matching outfits before we're 60 years old!

Joe's trying to be super Oilman- check out the truck decked out in Oilers decor!

I've got my tatoo- where's yours?!

Sunday, May 6

Last Sunday, Dan and I graduated from our marriage prep course at St. Theresa's church. Our marriage prep group went to mass, and had the priest bless us. Afterwards, we went to Kevin and Mona Lee's house (our instructors) and had a wine and cheese party.

At the church, we bumped into my neighbours and good friends, Bick and Shane and their kids William and Hannah- who also happened to be at the church that day for William's first communion. Congrats William!!!! William is going to be our ring bearer and Hannah is one of our flower girls.

OMG...let's look at them one more time, shall we?! They are just the cutest kids EVER!!!!!

Dan and I with our marriage prep instructors: (from L to R) Chantelle, David, Kevin and Mona Lee (who is our friend, Sean's, parents).

Ben and Hazel. This is such a small world..I met Ben one day while I was running in his neighbourhood, and he stopped and recognized me b/c we go to the same gym (I didn't know that at the time). So from then on, we started talking to each other at the gym. Then one day, he was driving in my neighbourhood and I asked him what he was doing there. He said his fiancee lives there and pointed to Hazel's house. I was like "OMG! You're engaged to Hazel!?" He replied, "Yeah, OMG you know Hazel!?" Well...I hadn't seen Hazel in years...like since I was 6 years old...but I knew of her! hehe. And then turns out they are in the same marriage prep course as us!

Kevin and Mona Lee's family have two dogs: Shamus (the older, small dalmation), and Kinsey (yes, named after the sex psychologist) - who is a hellova great dane! She is massive and is only about one year old!

Kinsey and Dan decided to do some dancing (OMG look how she almost towers him!!!!)

Awww! I love how they are looking at each other so passionately! hehe

Kinsey's getting down!

Great dancing Dan & Kinsey!

SUNDAY was my "recognition ceremony" (mock graduation). We had it that day because the other school, Canadian University College, in which we (Loma Linda University) shares a campus with, had their actual grad that day (about 60 grads). The one cool thing I didn't know about CUC was that there are SO MANY students from diverse parts of the world- including, Africa, Lebanon, Jamaica, States, Eastern Canada, and other exotic locations. I think the biggest reason they came here to study is because these post-secondary schools are Seventh Day Adventist schools, which I believe, are rare worldwide. Why else would anyone come to LACOMBE, Alberta of all places, to study- esp when you live in an exotic place?!?

Here I am shaking hands with Ronald Carter, Dean of Loma Linda University in California

Since we're not actually done school...there's actually no diploma in that graduation folder yet...two more months!!!!!!

My great friend (and Indian twin), Meena and I. We've become superclose since meeting each other almost 1.5 years ago!

Me and my cutie pie :o)

Here's me doing a cross b/t Harry Potter and Matrix impression - what the heck are those hang-y extras for anyways?! I was thinking of storing a protein bar in one of them...man, I was STARVING during the grad ceremony!!! One classmate actually stored her lip gloss in there...now that's smart!

Moving on to the reception...here's Michelle and I! Thanks Michelle for coming out! Meant alot to me!!!! Love ya!

My case class professor/supervisor, Doris. She's such an amazingly genuine, warm, and positive influence - and a very skillful and knowledgeable therapist. Isn't she so beautiful too? I think she looks like Marilyn Monroe.

I love this pic: Sholly, Meens, Heidi and I

Mommy, Daddy and I

My Indian twin, Meena! hehe. We decided to do the cultural thing, as you can see!

Me and two of the most amazing profs I've ever had...Dianna and Doris. It is partly because of them that I am where I am today.

Joanne and her hubby, Ted, hosted a bon fire potluck at their place after the reception. They live on a farm in Leduc. Here we are roasting weiners around the camp fire. L to R: Sean (Christine's hubby), Christine, Chris (Linda's son), Vanessa (Joanne's adopted daughter), Joanne, Ted (Joanne's hubby), & Linda

My dad roating a hot dog in.his.suit. In the chairs, from L to R: Chris, Ted, and Nicole (Linda's daughter).

Aren't my parents *so adorable*!?!

Keeping warm and cozy!

Don't.ask.me (I wasn't with Dan!)

Some of us grads from L to R: Todd, Christine, Joanne, Heidi, me, & Linda. Christine and her parents were so sweet to bring a cake saying "Grad 2006"! Whoot! I love how Linda and Heidi are the only 2 that's focused on my camera! hehe! There were like 3 cameras shooting at once!

Linda and I looking our best..hehe (no...we weren't drinking!)

I loves this: Dan's playing basketball with Joanne's adopted 12-year old son, Anthony, who came up with this idea that the net's height would constantly be adjusting as Dan was trying to shoot. So cute!

My mom took some pictures of me jumping on Joanne's trampoline - she got some good ones of me in the air! (My mom is so not camera savy, so this is pretty awesome for her!)

I just love how my dad totally fits in this picture...suit and all!
SATURDAY NIGHT
Saturday evening, we went to Century Grill for Lindsey's 25th birthday, then headed out afterwards to dance at The Druid. It's been awhile since I've been able to put on my dancing shoes, so I had a really awesome time! Thanks Lindsey!

We also got together so say good bye to Susan, because she's travelling to Malaysia for about a month. Her aunt lives there and has kindly offered to pay for her to go visit! What a lucky gal! Have fun eating and shopping, Susan!!!! Also, Happy Birthday in advance (May 11)!
CONGRATS TO SUZY AND STEFAN!!!! Suzy is THREE MONTHS PREGANT!!!!! YAY!!!!! We're so happy for the both of you!! Wishing all the health, happiness and blessings to you both and your soon to be baby! Jenn (left in white shirt) is estatic (even though she doesn't look like it in the picture- hehe)...now her baby Tyler will have a playmate (in our group of friends) soon!!!

You know me...have to always add in a pic of your fave couple! ;o)
