It's GOOD TO BE BAAAAACK!!!!!!
Hola! Ok, after a month hibernating in my room, burying my nose in books and staring at my computer busying typing away on papers, projects and my thesis paper, and counselling three times a week...I FINALLY have a break!!!!! NO MORE SCHOOL until January! WHOO-HOOO! I'm still counselling now though, but that's ok, I REALLY enjoy it. I'm just feeling that shift now as I'm beginning to feel like a real therapist. Can't wait to see how my skills will be in June, when I graduate!
I know you guys totally missed my posts...(even though nobody ever posts comments! I know you guys still check in...thanks!) ;o)
So...what's new!? Ok, here's a brief summary to catch up on mine and Dan's lives:
* We didn't get selected for that wedding video contest (BOO!). In fact, when viewing the videos, I was QUITE disappointed that we didn't even have a chance! Oh well! At least we have a wedding video to show at our wedding now
* JENN and STEVE had their baby on Oct.6 (see pictures below of the cute one!)
* I re-wrote my comprehensive exam, and passed with flyer colors this time. Whoo0-hoo!
* I dyed my hair bright, bold red - it's growing! I'm growing it long for the wedding. Honestly, I think last time I cut it was before summer, and so far, no split ends!
* AND MOST EXCITING NEWS...Dan and I set a date and place for our wedding and the reception! It will be on AUGUST 12, 2006 . YAY! Mom and I are going to go bridal shopping soon! On that note, I'm really trying to tone up so I don't get frustrated trying on bridal dresses...and seems like some people have been noticing positive differences, even people at the gym! yay! I've lost about 5 lbs - and I haven't lost weight in over 2 years, so this is awesome. I've finally got thru the plateau!
* Dan and I are flying to Vancouver on Dec 21 (it was sorta spontaneous planning, we found a good deal, $90 each way!)...hang out with friends from West Coast Trail and visit my friend Mary (whoohoo! It's been tooooo long since we've seen each other!)... heading to Whistler that same night and staying in a hostel...snowboarding the next day in Whistler (CAN'T WAIT)...partying in Whistler at night (REALLY CAN'T WAIT!)...and heading to Vancouver Island to stay with Dan's parents from Dec. 23-27 (YAY! Can't wait! I'm excited to see them!!)...heading back to Vancouver to do some SHOPPING (REALLY REALLY CAN'T WAIT) and hanging out with the same friends we met on the WEST COAST TRAIL (and a big shout-out to Wayne and Shiela for offering their place for us to stay overnight)...heading back into E-town early Dec.28 (REALLY CAN WAIT for that).
Ok...shoot, it seemed like there was more news to blog, but apparently it's really not worth mentioning...since it's not that exciting unless you really want to hear about my school assignments (hah!).
